Plasmids Growth conditions for plasmid bearing strains should generally be selective. Special care regarding handling and disposal of strains harbouring antibiotic resistances should be taken. Genetically manipulated strains must be used under adequate containment conditions. Molecular weights of plasmids as cited by DSMZ are according to the resp. literature references or to data given by the depositor. DSMZ does not provide requestors with plasmid maps or sequences.
