Medium:

90% RPMI 1640 + 10% h.i. FBS

Subculture:

maintain at 0.2-0.75 x 10⁶ cells/ml or 0.8-1.6 x 10⁵ cells/cm²; optimal split ratio of 1:3 to 1:8 every 2-5 days; cells may be dislodged mechanically with trypsin/EDTA; seed out at ca. 0.3-0.5 x 10⁶ cells/ml

Incubation:

at 37 °C with 5% CO₂

Doubling time:

ca. 35 hours
