additional information:
<- JCM; JCM 8580 <- R. Sakazaki; <- K. Miki;. Blood from diabetic patient. Japan, Kobe. Type strain.. Taxonomy/description (6865, 9746, 18884, 6907). Sequence accession no. 16S ribosomal RNA gene, partial sequence: OP818076, complete genome: NZ_CP017181. Confusion about correct type strain culture caused by the fact that two different cultures are stored at different collections (Brady C., 2013) (18884). Both cultures were used in species description and emendation but DSM 13645 seems to be the original isolate. Sequencing data and MALDI spectra support this assumption. The 16S rRNA gene sequence of this strain differs by 14 nt from AJ508301 (=AB616140). Phenotypic data in accordance with species descriptions (18884). (Medium 92, incubation time: 1-2 days, pH 7, 37°C, aerobic or Medium 693, incubation time: 1-2 days, pH 7, 37°C, aerobic)
