Taxonomy/description (18825, 24018, 24273). Sequence accession no. 16S rRNA gene: X85199, complete genome: NC_006156. In the abstract of the paper of Margos et al. 2013, the ATCC collection number of the type is erroneously cited as BAA-2496, the correct number is ATCC BAA-2496. Note that strain PBi was formerly assigned to Borrelia garinii (4944). (Medium 403, 32°C, microaerophilic).
