Subculture:
cells are very difficult to culture; seed out at 1 x 106 cells/ml; cultivation in 12- or 24-well plates is highly recommended; maintain at a minimum of 1 x 106 cells/ml; after thawing cells grow very slowly and viability may be initially low (possibly no growth during the first week); arising debris may mimick a bacterial contamination
