Subculture:
cells may be difficult to culture; seed out at ca. 1 x 106 cells/ml; cells grow best in 24-well-plates; during the first 2-6 days proliferation rate may be rather low but the medium rarely becomes acidic (yellow), however it is advisable to change the spent medium every 2-3 days; split saturated culture 1:2; minimum density at 0.8 x 106 cells/ml, maximum density at ca. 5 x 106 cells/ml but optimal density at ca. 1-2 x 106 cells/ml

at 37 °C with 5% CO2

about 120 hours
Harvest:
cell harvest of ca. 2 x 106 cells/ml in a 24-well-plate
