Subculture:
seed out at ca. 0.3 x 106 cells/ml; maintain at 0.3-1.0 x 106 cells/ml; split 1:2 to 1:3 every 2-3 days; culture may contain a certain amount of debris (which can be removed by centrifugation)
Incubation:
at 37 °C with 5% CO2
Doubling time:
ca. 40-50 hours
Harvest:
maximal density at ca. 1.5 x 106 cells/ml
