Subculture:
seed out at ca. 0.7 x 106 cells/well; maintain at 0.5-1.0 x 106 cells/ml; split 1:2 every 2-3 days; viability may be low initially after thawing; it is recommended to cultivate the cells in 24-well-plates during the first week and to exchange medium with dilution; cells may be partially (lightly) adherent but can be flushed off by pipetting
