However, according to gene expression profiling and expression of EWS-FLI1 gene fusion transcripts, the cell line is evidently related to Ewing sarcoma; the cell line is also named EW8(Rh1) or EW-8 in literature

at 37 °C with 5% CO2

ca. 30-40 hours
