Subculture:
seed out at ca. 1-2 x 106 cells/80 cm2 flask; split confluent culture 1:5 once or twice a week using trypsin/EDTA (wash cells twice with PBS before adding trypsin/EDTA and apply trypsin/EDTA for up to 20 min. to detach cells); cells grow slowly during the first 1-2 weeks after thawing

at 37 °C with 5% CO2
