The cell line ETCC-011 was established by stable lipofectamin transformation of breast carcinoma cells with the pGRN145 plasmid coding for the catalytic subunit of the human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) and for hygromycin resistence. Donor cells, vector und recipient cells match risik group 1

Subculture:
seed out at ca. 1-2 x 106 cells/80 cm2 flask; split confluent culture 1:2 - 1:6 once or twice a week using trypsin/EDTA (incubation with trypsin/EDTA for about 5 min)

at 37 °C with 5% CO2

ca. 2-4 days
