Genetic modification of HEK293-DR-GFP-RAD51B-9 (DSMZ ACC 845) which belongs to a series of genetically disrupted RAD51 paralogs. Here, in ACC 850, the RAD51B gene is functionally reconstituted by retroviral transfection. Cells are described in the literature to be puromycin and hygromycin resistant

poly-L-lysine solution; seed out at 1 x 106 cells/80 cm2; split subconfluent culture 1:5 to 1:10 every 2-4 days using trypsin/EDTA
