Assignment to the species Halospirulina sp. is preliminary. Comments of the depositor: "Halospirulina is a filamentous cyanobacterium. It is one of the most important nutritious food sources in the world. It is rich in proteins, vitamins and antioxidants". Phototrophic. It cannot be excluded that the strain produces cyanobacterial toxins that can be dangerous to humans and pets. Non-axenic.
