Cultivation conditions:

For growth of DSM 11118 use cellulose filter paper paced on agar plates. Growth also occures on cellulose filter paper placed on liquid culture. Nitrocellulose filter papers will not support growth. Alternatively, the strain also grows with 0.1% glucose or 0.1% cellobiose as carbon source.
