An anaerobic (N2CO2) chamber or tent is recommended for work with this strain.
Resuspend the pellet in 5 ml of M1715 medium. Prepare a dilution series (0,25 ml culture in 5 ml M1715) to dilute the interfering protective substance. Incubation (37 °C ,5 days). Check growth microscopically. Transfer approximately 0,5 ml from tubes showing growth onto blood agar plates. (Incubation 37 °C ,5 days).
