Sequence accession no. 16S rRNA gene: AB690566, whole genome shotgun sequence: FNYW00000000. The cheese was produced in France, but isolation of the strain was conducted in Japan. Alkaliphilic. Halophilic (17620). (Medium 785 + 20 g/L agar, 30°C, microaerophilic). Does not grow well in liquid media.
