GPS coordinates of the sampling site "Herrerías mine district, Guadiana pit lake" have been erronously indicated as 37°46' 66'' N, 6° 49' 31'' W in the publications (25857, 40708). Resistant to ferrous iron (25857), Resistant to aluminium-III (25857), Resistant to arsenic (V) (25857). Reductive dissolution of the ferric iron mineral schwertmannite under microaerobic or anaerobic conditions (25857). Deviating from species description, growth at pH 5 is better than below 4 (DSMZ). (Medium 1627, 28°C)
