Biotransformation of cometabolism of gamma-HCH (Lindan) (4300). Pathogenic to chickens. Strain has been checked for shigatoxins and enterohemolysin toxins by genotypical and phenotypical methods and is negative for stx1 and stx2 (shigatoxins), e-hly (enterohemolysin) and eae (intimin gene) (Medium 1, 37°C).
