Susceptibility testing - a service offered by the DSMZ
DSMZ offers antibiotic susceptibility testing for strains listed in different quality control protocols, using 36 antibiotics in an agar diffusion disc assay to determine sensitivities. The tests are performed according to the German standard DIN 58940 and the customer can receive a lot-specific detailed test certificate upon request.
Furthermore, DSMZ offers antibiotic susceptibility testing for any bacterial strain of the DSMZ collection and also for strains sent by customers. DSMZ performs these tests in the context of identification, screening, or species description. Price on Request.
