Transparency and open discourse as well as the definition of clear regulations and accountability are fundamental to Good Scientific Practice. The Leibniz-Institute DSMZ GmbH is committed to the guidelines of Good Scientific Practice for which honesty towards oneself and towards others is of central importance.
The DSMZ and its scientists strive to be truthful, accurate and honest. These are core values that the DSMZ is comitted to.
Good Scientific Practice is a daily, conscientious practice and most effective way to prevent dishonesty and the conscious violation of these principles.
As a member of the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft the DSMZ applies the code Leitlinie „Gute wissenschaftliche Praxis in der Leibniz-Gemeinschaft“. The “Kodex der DFG “ is equally relevant for implementation of Good Scientific Practice.
