Privacy Statement for Unsolicited Applications

It is basically possible to send us unsolicited applications. By sending us your documents for an unsolicited application you agree to the use of the personal data sent to us for processing this application (Article 6 GDPR). Your data will only be passed on to employees of DSMZ GmbH who could immediately be interested in your application. When there is an interest in your application, the data can be passed to additional staff sections, namely the management, the human resources department, the department which was interested in your application, the workers’ council and if necessary the equal opportunity commissioner and the representative for disabled employees. Six months after completing the application process, your documents will be returned to you, or your electronically transmitted data deleted (see § 15 (4) Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz – German General Law on equal treatment), unless they are still needed for the purpose of employment.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data by DSMZ at any time with effect for the future (Article 7 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to enquire, free of charge, about which personal information was recorded (Article 15 GDPR), and, if necessary, a right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), blocking (Article 17 GDPR) or deletion of said data (Article 18 GDPR). Privacy Statement for Job Offers

By sending your application documents, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of the application procedure (see Article 6 GDPR, see also Section 32 BDSG). As the managing director of DSMZ GmbH, Prof. Dr. Jörg Overmann (contact(at)dsmz.de) is responsible for data protection according to the DSGVO, while specific questions can be directed to our data protection officer (datenschutz(at)dsmz.de). You only need to provide those data which we need to process your application, including your contact information.

Your data will only be passed on to employees of DSMZ GmbH who are directly involved in the job advertisement, namely the management, the human resources department, the department where the vacancy exists, the workers’ council, the equal opportunity commissioner and possibly the representative for disabled employees.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data by DSMZ at any time with effect for the future (Article 7 (3) GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to enquire, free of charge, about which personal information was recorded (Article 15 GDPR), and, if necessary, a right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), blocking (Article 17 GDPR) or deletion of said data (Article 18 GDPR).
