The VAAM special groups Identification and Systematics and Space Microbiology invite you to an interdisciplinary event on Cultivating, Identifying, and Preserving Microorganisms – For the Future on Earth and Beyond!, taking place 9-10 October 2025 in Braunschweig, Germany.
Our event focuses on the cultivation of microorganisms and communities, the identification and systematic of (new) strains as well as microbial communities, their application or utility in wide variety of applications fields from basic to applied research, e.g., biotechnology, chemistry, medicine, agriculture, food industry and aerospace.
We would like to cordially invite all interested scientists, especially early career and experienced scientists such PhD students, PostDocs and early PIs to submit their interest to participate and an abstract on their research to workshop(at)vaam.de (best by August 1st, 2025).
