The VAAM special groups Identification and Systematics and Space Microbiology organised the interdisciplinary event on 9-10 October 2025 in Braunschweig, Germany.
The event focused on the cultivation of microorganisms and communities, the identification and systematic of (new) strains as well as microbial communities, their application or utility in wide variety of applications fields from basic to applied research, e.g., biotechnology, chemistry, medicine, agriculture, food industry and aerospace.
More than 30 international scientists participated in the workshop.
