Subculture:
seed out with 1-2 x 106/25 cm2 flask; split confluent culture 1:8 every 5-6 days using trypsin/EDTA; initially after thawing, the viability might decrease down to ca. 20-50% during the first week and cells may grow slowly and loosely adherent, but cells recover subsequently over the next week and viability will raise over the next few passages
