Our research interests encompass the biology and interactions of biogeochemically important microorganisms from an ecophysiological and ecosystem service perspective. In our group, we are particularly interested in microorganisms driving the sulfur and nitrogen cycle in freshwater environments such as peatlands, rice paddy fields, and lakes.
