Deposit in the Open collection
The deposit in the open collection is free of charge but subject to the regulations of the Nagoya protocol.
The DSMZ collects biological material of applied, biotechnological, educational, taxonomic, and general interest. Microorganisms, cell lines or viruses sent for deposit in the open/general collection should have been used in work already published or prepared for publication. The biological material deposited in this manner will be available to the international scientific community in both academic and industrial institutions.
