90% DMEM (4.5 g/L glucose) + 10% horse serum + 2 mM L-glutamine + HFCS ("Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning Supplement") for the first 1 week post-thawing
Subculture:
maintain at 0.5-1.0 x 106 cells/ml; split saturated culture at 1:2 to 1:3 every 2 day (maximal split ratio of 1:5); viability may drop below 50% after thawing; we recommend to start culture with a cell concentration of ca. 0.5 x 106 cells/ml and to cultivate initially in 24-well plates with medium containing 20% horse serum

at 37 °C with 5% CO2
