Subculture:
split saturated culture optimally 1:2 to 1:3 every second day; seed out at ca. 0.5 x 106 cells/ml; maintain at ca. 0.3-0.4 x 106 cells/ml; maximal density at ca. 0.7 x 106 cells/ml; some cells attach to the flask surface, but may be detached by tapping the flask; if viability decreases, addition of HFCS ("Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning Supplement") may be useful
