Subculture:
seed out ca. 1 x 106 cells in a 80cm2 flask;
split confluent culture 1:3 to 1:6 every 3-6 days; use of trypsin/EDTA is not necessary (cells can be detached by tapping the flask or repeated pipetting); however, this results in cell clumps which are difficult to disperse; for single cells the use of trypsin/EDTA is recommended
