Subculture:
maintain at 0.1-0.5 x 106 cells/ml; split saturated culture 1:3; maximal density at about 2-5 x 106 cells/ml; seed out at ca. 0.2-0.4 x 106 cells/ml; note that after thawing cell viability may be as low as 50%, but cells will recover quickly within a week or so
