Subculture:
split culture 1:3 to 1:5 twice a week using trypsin/EDTA; seed out at ca. 2-4 x 106 cells/80 cm2 flask; maximal density at ca. 2-3 x 105 cells/cm2; use new flask after splitting; clumps can be dispersed with trypsin/EDTA
Incubation:
at 37 °C with 5% CO2
Doubling time:
ca. 35 hours
Harvest:
