Subculture:
split confluent culture 1:2 once a week using trypsin-like enzyme (e.g. Tryple Express) (standard trypsin/EDTA is not sufficiently effective); seed out 2-3 x 106 cells in 25 cm2; note that certain plastic flasks from some suppliers are inhibitory to growth, while others are conducive

at 37 °C with 5% CO2
