Subculture:
cells are difficult to culture; seed out at ca. 2 x 106 cells/ml in a 24-well-plate; maintain at ca. 1-2 x 106 cells/ml in a 24-well-plate; split saturated culture 1:2 once or twice per week; post thawing cells may need 5-7 days to recover and to reach viabilities above 80%

at 37 °C with 5% CO2
