Origin:
established in 2011 from the ascites fluid of a 47-year-old woman with recurrent high-grade serous ovarian cancer after three different chemotherapies (diagnosed in 2005 with stage III C papillary serous adenocarcinoma G3). Cells are described to exhibit multiple chromosomal aberrations, TP53 and BRCA1 mutations and the loss of one copy of BRCA2. Also described to be resistant to cisplatin and AZD4547, but sensitive to paclitaxel and CPL304-110-01
