WHO Priority Pathogens List
The World Health Organization (WHO) priority list contains a catalogue of 12 families of bacteria that pose the greatest threat to human health and was intended to guide and promote research and development (R&D) of new antibiotics. Therefore, it is useful for all scientists working on the discovery, research, and development of new antibiotics.
The panel of strains for all three groups is continuously being expanded.
