Sequence accession no. 16S rRNA gene: AB552842, aprA gene: AB552843, soxB gene: AB552844. Facultative anaerobic, autotrophic growth was observed only under anaerobic conditions (16084). (Medium 1304, incubation time: more than 14 days, 25°C, anaerobic). Growth takes place without visible increase in turbidity, hence proliferation of cells has to be checked using phase contrast microscopy.
