<- M. Garnier, Plouzane <- C. Ruiz-Ponte. (Phaeobacter gallaeciensis). Seawater from larval cultures of scallop, Pecten maximus; Spain. Taxonomy/description (10454, 18816). Sequence accession no. complete genome: CP002976 (17447), 16S rRNA gene: KC176241 (18816), 16S-23S rRNA intergenic spacer: KC176235 (18816). Originally deposited as the type of Phaeobacter gallaeciensis. Molecular and phenotypic analyses reveal that DSM 17395 is different from the type strain deposit CIP 105210T and that it should be allocated to Phaeobacter inhibens. (18816). (Medium 514, 28°C).
